Calling this “training” is kind of laughable. Oh well.
Monday: Spin class 1 hr, 20 minutes of arms & core strength.
Tuesday – Friday: I guess I’ll call these rest days
Saturday: Ballet Fit, 1 hr; Ballet class, 1.5 hr
Sunday: 6.68mi in 1:07, 10:00 pace. It was raining but not too cold so it wasn’t that bad.
Total miles: 6.68
Total time: 4hr, 57min
Wednesday; Friday; Sunday
So … that’s inspiring, right? Four rest days in a row? What happened?
- Life
- Bad weather
- Listening to my body
So there you go. Not a stellar week, but they can’t all be.
However, tomorrow marks 12 weeks until my next big goal race. And I’m talking to a potential coach …
And I got to talk to my sweetie pie via Google Hangout. (He’s away for Navy stuff.) Olive was totes excited to join in on the fun. I couldn’t tell if she was just staring at herself on the screen … “What is that small creature, and can I attack it?”

Also, in case anyone cares, I started posting in my “fashion” blog again.

Still almost 5 hours of working out- not bad for not really “training.” :) and 2.5 hours of ballet would kick my arse for sure!
I realized that once I added it up. Although half of that is from ballet, which is part fun, part work out. But it’s still a decent workout! And 5 hours is definitely more than I was averaging 2+ years ago.
Nice week. It is good to take some time off. I am learning that slowly, but surely. Anyway, I am sure I would be in traction for a few weeks if I tried ballet! Olive looks like she really does want to attack her screen image! Great pic :-)
Well if you ever do want to try ballet, let me know! My brother used to take it too (with my sis-in-law/his now-wife). He claimed he got into it at first to improve his BMX skills …
Okay, I will let you know. I may try it as long as I don’t have to dance on my toes!
